Ella
When Ella joined Leaven Kids at 10, school was frustrating to her and often led to outbursts. She needed help with all her assignments and often had to leave the program early because she was too upset. Over the past year, Ella's learned to manage her emotions. Now, she can complete assignments on her own, stay for the entire program, and has a new sense of confidence!

Mia
Mia started attending Leaven Kids in Kindergarten. She couldn’t speak English, read, write, or identify letters or numbers. With her site director’s help, she spent that summer learning to write her name, the alphabet, and count to 20. Mia quickly became fluent in English and excelled academically, despite language barriers at home. She now loves reading, especially her favorite Shopkins book!
